The fine print, written plainly

Terms & privacy.

Effective 22 July 2026

Terms of service

1. Who runs this

The Local Business MBA (“the programme”, “the site”) is operated by Schwab Consulting, Inc, a company based in Florida, United States. Questions about these terms: legal@localbusinessmba.com. By using the site or enrolling, you accept these terms.

2. What you’re buying

The programme is education: a structured curriculum, templates, and (on some tiers) group coaching for building a local service business that runs without its owner. It is not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, not a franchise, and not a business-in-a-box.

3. No earnings guarantee

Student results shown on the site, including revenue figures, are real but not typical, and they took real work. Any figures reflecting my own companies or track record, such as staffing work with Inc 5000 firms, are illustrations rather than promises. Enrolling guarantees you the material and the support described, not a business outcome. Many businesses fail; the programme cannot change that on its own.

4. Payments & refunds

5. Your use of the material

Course material is licensed to you, personally, for building your own businesses. Don’t share logins, resell, republish, or teach from the material as if it were yours. All content is © Christopher Schwab.

6. Community conduct

Coaching spaces stay useful because they stay civil. Spam, harassment, or pitching other members without consent gets you removed without refund of the current period.

7. Liability

The site and programme are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes & governing law

These terms may change; material changes will be dated here. They are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and disputes belong to the courts there.

Privacy policy

1. What I collect

I rely on US-based services, so your data may be processed in the United States: beehiiv (email list), Podia (payments and enrolment), Resend (contact emails), and Vercel (hosting). Card details are handled by the payment processor and never touch my systems. Each service keeps its own privacy terms.

2. What I don’t do

No selling or renting of your data, no advertising trackers, no third-party ad cookies. If analytics are used, they are simple, aggregate, and cookie-free.

3. What stays on your device

Display preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device and can be cleared in your browser at any time.

4. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal data I hold, and withdraw consent at any time. The programme is operated from the United States; if you are in the UK or EU, you also have rights under your local data protection law (GDPR), which I honour. One email to legal@localbusinessmba.com starts any of those, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

5. Retention

Student records are kept while you have access to the programme and as long as tax law requires; subscriber data is deleted on request.
